The Depew Fire Department protects just over 16,000 residents within 5 square miles of the Village of Depew. The department consists of four hose companies, one hook and ladder company and one hose/ rescue company. We proudly boast the largest volunteer fire department in the County of Erie and one of the largest in the State of New York, with over one hundred and forty members. We respond to an average of 300 calls of emergencies throughout the year, including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, traffic control, carbon monoxide alarms and many other types of emergencies.
